Pegasus Transportation is celebrating a milestone – its 18-year anniversary. In 1994, Fernando Pereira, along with three business partners, started a small transportation company with only a 100-square foot office, one 15-passenger van, and one driver. After only one and a half years, Fernando was the only partner remaining that had faith in the company’s success. Over the next few years, Pegasus Transportation grew, moved to minibuses, and began transporting about 250 international travelers or individual passengers on a daily basis. In 2000, with the surge of the international market and existing clients requesting that the company expand its services to include the group tour business, Pegasus Transportation decided to take the leap and purchase its first 50-passenger motorcoach. A year later the company was ready to shift entirely to the group tour market. After a few more years of refinement, Pegasus Transportation became the company that it is today, with 23 buses seating 61 passengers each, now one of the most well-known names in group transportation, and added services including discounted event and attraction tickets, shopping tours, restaurant and hotel site selection, and so much more.
